SWINE FLU PANDEMIC

 PLEASE TELEPHONE TO CHECK YOUR ELIGIBILITY FOR A VACCINE AND WHEN CLINICS ARE BEING HELD.

The symtoms of Flu are:

Sudden fever, Sudden cough, Headache, Chills, Aching Muscles, Limb or joint pain, Diarrhoea or stomach upset, Sore throat, Loss of appetite, Runny nose.

If you have flu like symptoms stay at home. You can check your symptoms by calling the Swine Flu Information Line on 0800 1 513 513. If you are still concerned contact NHS Direct Wales on 0845 4647.

If you are pregnant, have a chronic health condition or are seeking advice for a child under 5 years please contact NHS Direct Wales for further advice.

Do not go to your Accident & Emergency Department unless you are advised to do so or are seriously ill, as you may spread the illness to others.

 

Extended Surgeries

We provide one late evening surgery and two early morning surgeries specifically for patients who are working and have difficulty in attending during the day. The appoinments MUST be booked in advance.

Tuesday 6.30pm to 7.00pm

Wednesday 7.30am to 8.00am

Thursday 7.30am to 8.00am

Use your repeat slip clearly marking the items you need.

  1. You can either hand the slip to the receptionist at the counter or place it in the prescription box.
  2. Post your request to us with a stamped self addressed envelope if you wish your prescription to be returned by post.
  3.  Use the online prescription service.
  4. YOU CAN ASK FOR YOUR PRESCRIPTION TO BE PICKED UP AT A LOCAL CHEMIST.YOU CAN THEN COLLECT YOUR MEDICATION DIRECTLY FROM THEM.IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ARRANGE THIS. PLEASE ALLOW 48 HOURS BETWEEN ASKING FOR YOUR REPEAT PRESCRIPTION AND COLLECTING IT.
